How to Find Cheap Summer Holidays from the UK in 2026

1. Book Early, Very Early

For school holiday weeks (late July and all of August), the single most effective money-saving strategy is booking early. January is typically the best month to book a summer holiday. Tour operators launch their summer programmes in autumn and January sales are a real thing in the travel industry, Jet2, TUI and On the Beach all run promotions that make early January an excellent time to commit.

• February–March: Prices start climbing as awareness grows

2. Be Flexible About Your Departure Airport
